My name is Sally Jenkinson. I am a poet, writer, performer and creative facilitator. I have been writing and performing poetry across the UK for more than a decade, and have also written and performed internationally in Sweden, Iceland, and Australia.

My work has recently been featured in Lighthouse Journal, Emerge Literary Journal, The Morning Star, and on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Power Lines’.

I am also a Mum, a care worker, and a community arts producer, and am working towards my MA in Creative Writing from the University of Gloucestershire.

I was born and raised in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. I have lived in Lancaster, Sheffield, Bristol, and Brighton, and am now based in the Forest of Dean with my cats, husband, and various fierce and magical children.
